Although the Pittsburgh Steelers are on a short week, they are getting a special teams player back on the field for Week 12.

You have to win in all three phases.

You hear that sentiment from coaches all across the league, and the Pittsburgh Steelers are getting a special teams player, and back up safety, back on the field in Jordan Dangerfield.

The Steelers released their inactive list for the Thanksgiving night game against the Indianapolis Colts, and Dangerfield, who had missed the past two games with a groin injury, was not listed, meaning he will be active.

The rest of the team’s inactive list is as follows:

QB Zach Mettenberger (healthy scratch)
S Shamarko Thomas (groin)
RB DeAngelo Williams (knee)
RB Daryl Richardson (healthy scratch)
OT Brian Mihalik (healthy scratch)
TE Xavier Grimble (quadriceps)
WR Darrius Heyward-Bey (foot)

On a short week the Steelers are a pretty healthy team heading into Week 12. The team looks to not only shake their history of not playing well on Thursdays, but also their tendency to lose on Thanksgiving.

Stay tuned to BTSC for the latest updates in the Steelers Week 12 games.
