Steelers Injury Report: Pittsburgh's situation at right tackle becomes more dire by the day

With each passing day the Steelers situation at right tackle becomes more and more a concern. Check out what may happen in Week 5 vs. the Jets.

Who's ready for Chris Hubbard? Considering this question is being posed in cyber space, I am going to assume no one raised their hands. Despite it hasn't been made official, Hubbard possibly starting at right tackle for the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 5 vs. the New York Jets seems more and more obvious after two days of practice.

Marcus Gilbert and Ryan Harris haven't practiced once this week, and with only one day left to prove to the coaching staff they can contribute to the team this week, the job of anchoring the right side would fall on Hubbard. Maurkice Pouncey could be at right tackle if the Steelers would need an emergency tackle, but the team has to hope it wouldn't come to that, whether it is injury or poor play which would cause him to leave the center position to fill in at right tackle.

Justin Gilbert missed practice with a knee injury suffered in Wednesday's practice, and it isn't likely he plays this week. However, the true question marks will be Jarvis Jones and Robert Golden, who were limited in practice Thursday, and could be a game-time decision with their injuries.
