The Pittsburgh Steelers are nearing kickoff against the Washingto Redskins on Monday Night Football, but not all 53-players who are on the active roster will be suiting up for the Week 1 matchup. See who the Steelers have listed as inactive for their first game action of 2016.
The Steelers deactivated WR Wheaton, LB Johnson, QB Mettenberger, CB Golson, FB Nix, OL Wallace and DE Walton.

The move to place Walton as inactive should be a sign of the team feeling confident in the ability of both Cameron Heyward and Javon Hargrave to be completely healthy.
Other than Walton, there were no surprises with the Steelers inactives for their Week 1 game in our nation's capital.
The Washington Redskins inactive list is below:
Washington inactives: QB Sudfield, WR Ross, S Ihenacio, CB Fuller, C Reiter, DE Lanier, G Kouandijio
