Steelers Injury Report: Several game-time decisions upcoming with only two ruled out

The Pittsburgh Steelers have ruled out two players heading into Week 14, which means there will be plenty of game-time decisions on Sunday.

The Pittsburgh Steelers and Buffalo Bills will go head-to-head in Week 14 at New Era Field in Orchard Park, NY this Sunday, and before the 1 p.m. EDT kickoff the two teams released their final injury reports leading up to the game.

For Pittsburgh, the report wasn’t all that out of the ordinary, except for a few items of note.

DeAngelo Williams, who missed Thursday’s practice after being limited on Wednesday, is listed as questionable. This is a surprise after missing practice the day before, but it looks as if there is a chance Williams could be backing up Le’Veon Bell this week.

Most fans are wondering if Chris Boswell will return to his kicking duties this week, or if it will be the second straight week of Randy Bullock. Boswell is listed as questionable, but reports coming out of the organization are stating he will be a game-time decision. This is why they kept Bullock on the roster, in case Boswell’s injury isn’t fully healed after one week.

Ramon Foster is the other player listed as questionable, and that is due to having a helmet driven into his chest against the New York Giants in Week 13. Foster said it was not a re-injury of his previous chest ailment which kept him out for a week. Although he didn’t practice Friday, Foster stated he will leave the decision to the coaching staff. If he couldn’t play, B.J. Finney will get his second start of his young career.

Lastly, Javon Hargrave is listed as doubtful as he works to come back from a concussion. L.T. Walton has seen increased snaps at nose tackle, and Daniel McCullers will most likely see an increased amount of playing time Sunday as well. The team also has the option of promoting Caushaud Lyons from the practice squad to add depth at the defensive line position.

The Steelers have until Saturday at 4 p.m. EDT to make any roster moves, and will release their inactive list for the game at 11:30 a.m. EDT Sunday.
