Steelers Injury Report: Pittsburgh gets out of Buffalo game “pretty healthy”

The Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Buffalo Bills, and were able to leave the game pretty healthy.

As the Pittsburgh Steelers took care of business on the road against the Buffalo Bills, and the snow fell during the 27-20 win, there were some big hits, and more than a few players left the field with injury. However, the Steelers were able to remain relatively healthy throughout the Week 14 game.

After the game Mike Tomlin addressed the media and only talked about one player on the team’s injury report, and that was free safety Mike Mitchell. Mitchell left the game with an apparent left knee injury, but was able to return to the game.

Tomlin stated he would update the injury at his weekly news conference on Tuesday at noon.

There will be plenty of injury news to note on Tuesday, and Mitchell’s is just one of the injuries to report.

How kicker Chris Boswell felt after his first game back after injuring his abdomen, how close DeAngelo Williams (knee) and Darrius Heyward-Bey (foot) are to returning to the field and whether Ramon Foster (chest) will be able to come back in Week 15 against AFC North rival Cincinnati Bengals.

Regardless, the Steelers have now won four games in a row, nullifying their four-game losing streak earlier this year, and are now in the thick of the AFC North division and AFC Playoff race with three weeks to go in the season.

Stay tuned to BTSC for the latest on the injury front, and the Steelers playoff push.
