Steelers Injury Report: Ramon Foster recently added to list of players missing practice

The Pittsburgh Steelers had a long injury report after their Wednesday practice, but there were a couple players who were given the day off for “non injury related” reasons. One of those was Ben Roethlisberger, who was limited Wednesday but was a full participant Thursday, and the other was Ramon Foster.

Come to the surprise of everyone following the injury report when Foster was listed again Thursday, but this time with a chest injury. Without speculating, Foster did suffer a chest injury earlier this season and missed a week, having B.J. Finney go into the lineup in his stead. Whether this is the same injury as he suffered earlier was not reported.

Other notable players who weren’t able to participate in practice Wednesday were Chris Boswell (abdomen), Javon Hargrave (concussion), Shamarko Thomas (concussion) and Darrius Heyward-Bey (foot). DeAngelo Williams (knee) was limited in practice Wednesday, but was held out of Thursday, which could mean he is still working his way back to the practice field, let alone a regular season game.

The Steelers, and all NFL teams who play on Sunday, will release their final injury report Friday and you could see Hargrave, Heyward-Bey, Williams and Thomas all listed as ‘OUT’ for the upcoming game against the Buffalo Bills.
