Thursday marks the second reported practice in the normal NFL work week, and the Pittsburgh Steelers are preparing for a meaningless game against the Cleveland Browns in Week 17. As the Steelers make their preparations for the AFC Playoffs, there will still be a game to be played on Sunday at Heinz Field.
After Wednesday’s injury report was released, there weren’t hardly any changes on Thursday’s report. Sammie Coates (hamstring), Ladarius Green (concussion) and Xavier Grimble (ribs) were all limited participants. Great news for Green, as he continues to work through the NFL’s concussion protocol.
Other than those three players, Anthony Chickillo (ankle), Robert Golden (ankle), Ricardo Mathews (ankle) and Stephon Tuitt (knee) are in serious risk of missing the game due to their individual injuries.
