The Pittsburgh Steelers have put the finishing touches on their game day roster leading into the Week 13 game against the New York Giants, and the primary player not to be active is placekicker Chris Boswell.
Boswell, who was added to the injury report Saturday with an abdominal injury, tested the injury prior to the game, but ultimately was not healthy enough to play. Randy Bullock, who will wear No. 2, will take Boswell’s place on the active roster Sunday.
Inactives for @Steelers: QB Mettenberger, RB DWilliams, RB Richardson, T Mihalik, TE Grimble, WR Heyward-Bey, PK Boswell

The full inactive list is below:
QB Zach Mettenberger (healthy scratch)
RB DeAngelo Williams (knee)
OT Brian Mihalik (healthy scratch)
TE Xavier Grimble (healthy scratch)
WR Darrius Heyward-Bey (foot)
PK Chris Boswell (abdomen)
There was talk of the Steelers not dressing all 5 of their outside linebackers, rather just keeping four on the active roster, but the team decided to carry three tight ends, compared to four if Grimble were active, rather than keep a pass rusher off the field.
The Steelers and Giants kickoff is set for 4:25 p.m. EDT. Stay tuned to BTSC for the latest news on the black and gold.
