The Pittsburgh Steelers don’t need a reminder to let them know just what the Jacksonville Jaguars can do when they come to Heinz Field. It was in Week 5 when the Jaguars demolished Pittsburgh 30-9, forcing 5 Ben Roethlisberger interceptions, two of them the pick-six variety.
The two teams will meet again at Heinz Field in the AFC Divisional round of the playoffs, and despite the outcome of their previous meeting, the sports books in Vegas love the Steelers, which they did in Week 5 as well.
According to BookMaker, the Steelers open as 7-point favorites over Jacksonville this Sunday. Most reading this article will believe the Steelers will win, but will they win and cover? That is a completely different story altogether.
If you thought the spread for the Steelers game was rather larger, then don’t look on the other side of the AFC bracket. The New England Patriots are huge favorites in their matchup with the Tennessee Titans.
Check out the latest odds for all Divisional Round matchups:
Jaguars at Steelers (-7, 41)
Titans at Patriots (-13.5, 47)
If you like the Steelers on Sunday to win, and cover, you might want to head to the window to place your bet before the line moves again. By game time, it wouldn’t be surprising at all if the spread was well below the current line of 7-points.
