Prepare for the unveiling. The Steelers' first round pick will be on the field Saturday.

Post Gazette reporter Ray Fittipaldo reported Saturday Steelers rookie linebacker Ryan Shazier will suit up for the team's preseason game against Buffalo.

Fittipaldo also confirmed outside linebacker Jarvis Jones will not play, and veteran Chris Carter will get the start in his place.

Trading in one first round pick for another, fans would certainly rather get a look at he hyper-athletic Shazier, who missed last week's game with the same knee injury that bothered him all week in practice. Jones has been struggling with a hamstring injury, but it isn't considered serious.

The Bills and Steelers practiced Wednesday and Thursday this week, finishing up the training camps for both teams, leading into tonight's game. Pittsburgh is favored by three points.

Cornerback Shaquille Richardson, outside linebacker Jordan Zumwalt, tight end Matt Spaeth, fullback Will Johnson and cornerback Devin Smith also will not play.
