Many of your fantasy football leagues have concluded, or your season is over. However, if you utilize sites like Fan Duel, fantasy football information is relevant the entire season. Therefore, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Kansas City Chiefs game in Week 16 will see it's share of fantasy starters. Let's take a look at who you should start and sit for the Steelers this week.
Ben Roethlisberger - The signal caller for the Steelers recognizes the opportunity in front of him and his team. A win-and-in situation while playing at home certainly should lead to big numbers for No. 7 in the black and gold. Roethlisberger has played well at Heinz Field this season, and although the Chiefs haven't giving up a 300 yard passer in 2014, count on Big Ben to come through when it matters most.
Antonio Brown - The question with Brown is why wouldn't you start him every week? The Chiefs have a phenomenal pass defense, but that hasn't stopped Brown from getting his catches and yards on a weekly basis. Brown will certainly get his touches, but his lack of scoring has been troublesome in recent weeks. Brown could end his drought at home this Sunday.
Le'Veon Bell - Put Bell in the same category as Brown. Must-start players on a weekly basis. Bell poses a better matchup than Brown this week as the Chiefs have struggled to stop the run. If the Steelers are going to win this game, it will be on the back of Bell and the Steelers running game. Expect Bell to get over 20 touches, and odds are he hits the 100 yard rushing mark in Week 16.
Steelers DEF/ST - Although the Steelers' return game has improved in recent weeks, their defense simply isn't good enough to be expected to start in a fantasy football situation. The Chiefs are a good matchup for the Steelers if they can stop the run, and that is a big if entering Week 16. The Chiefs are not a deep play team, something which has plagued the Steelers defense in 2014, but there simply isn't enough consistency on the defensive side of the ball to give them a start in such a crucial game.
Lance Moore - Moore's snap count has slowly been rising as the season progresses, but his catches are not increasing. Moore was targeted several times the past two weeks with only a handful of catches. There simply aren't enough passes going around to risk putting a WR like Moore in your lineup when he hasn't developed the rapport with Roethlisberger compared to other receivers. Leave Moore on the bench this week.
Martavis Bryant - Bryant is as dynamic and raw as any WR in the NFL. His skill set certainly can lead to a huge fantasy day, but the Steelers ability to stretch the field could be difficult with the Chiefs' stout pass rush. Look for Bryant to get more quick passes in hopes of setting up a deep route. Keep him in your lineup if you there are no other guarantee options available.
Heath Miller - Speaking of the Chiefs' pass rush, if the Steelers are struggling in that area expect Miller to be spending more time blocking than receiving. With Matt Spaeth's availability in question, there is a chance Miller won't be utilized much in the receiving game. It could equate to success for the team, but poor numbers for Miller's fantasy owners. Start at your own risk in Week 16.
