The results may not shock you; the Steelers aren't converting enough of them. But it's not strictly the play-calling. Basic execution isn't being met on every play. Sometimes it's the failure of one player as seen on the film. Sometimes it's a schematic error combined with a poor play-call. Sometimes, the other guy just does a better job.
There are dozens of things that happen on any one football play and it's difficult to get to the point where everything runs seamlessly. At this point in the season, the Steelers' offense appears to be getting further away from that level of execution.
