Steelers injury report: Le'Veon Bell sits out again

The Steelers' team MVP missed practice again, just a day after saying he felt better than he thought he would at this point in the week.

If the Steelers' MVP is going to get on the field Saturday against the Baltimore Ravens in their AFC Wild Card game, it will likely be with, at most, limited practice snaps.

Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell wasn't expected to practice Thursday, and he didn't. It appears a decision on his availability for Saturday's game won't be made until the final minute, but a continued lack of full reps suggests Bell won't participate in the team's first playoff game since 2011.

Steelers outside linebacker James Harrison (illness) also missed practice, while Troy Polamalu, Ike Taylor, Steve McLendon and Mike Adams all practiced fully. Taylor and Polamalu have been out since Week 15 and 16, respectively, and opinion as swirled around whether they should be brought back into a secondary that's been playing better in their absence than they had all year. The Steelers' defense has registered four takeaways in the last two games, both wins, and have tacked onto a four-game winning streak, the longest such streak they've had since Weeks 7-10 in 2012.
