NFL Week 9 Picks: Who the experts are taking in Steelers vs. Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens got the best of the Pittsburgh Steelers in their Week 2 matchup, but the matchup on Sunday Night Football at Heinz Field could be a different story. See who the experts are taking in this marquee AFC North contest.

The Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens are tied for second place in the highly competitive AFC North division. The Ravens have the slight advantage over Pittsburgh, considering they won the first head-to-head matchup in Baltimore in Week 2.

Looking at the upcoming Sunday night game,  a coin-flip could decide the winner and, with the Steelers and Ravens, that isn't anything new. As always, we take a look at the expert picks in this matchup that goes down on Sunday Night Football at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, PA.

The experts here at SB Nation see this game leaning toward the team with home-field advantage. Of the six experts who submit picks on a weekly basis, four of them have selected the team that's coming off a huge win over the Indianapolis Colts to continue their hot streak at home.

The panel of experts at ESPN.com have weighed-in on the matchup and, surprisingly, many who were downing the Steelers in Week 8 now seem to think the team has turned a corner. Mike Golic, of Mike and Mike, was the only panel member to pick the Ravens to win on Sunday night.

The Steelers aren't just favored at ESPN, but also with the expert panel at CBSsports.com. Of the eight experts who give opinions on weekly NFL games, only two think the Ravens will leave Heinz Field victorious Sunday.

The folks at Yahoo! Sports are split down the middle on this game, and the same could be said about the panel at FoxSports.com who are 50-50 in terms of their picks to win this rivalry game in Week 9.

Overall, the Steelers seem to have the advantage in the expert picks this week but, if history has shown us anything, it would be that the Ravens have no problem coming into Heinz Field and leaving with a 'W'. Time will tell who stays and who drops within the AFC North, but the experts are leaning toward the Steelers to win this game.
