Another week of NFL action, and another Pittsburgh Steelers game against a struggling team. This week it is the New Orleans Saints (4-7) who are traveling to Pittsburgh to face the Steelers at Heinz Field Sunday.
Will the Steelers be able to keep their stellar record at home by keeping Drew Brees and company off the scoreboard? Or will another under performing team rise up and shock the Steelers a la the Tampa Bay Buccaneers earlier this season?
All answers that will be answered in due time, but in the meantime, see who the experts are taking in a game both teams desperately need to win to keep their playoff hopes alive.
Looking at the expert panels certainly shows one trend across the board. The Steelers should win this football game. Such a sentiment isn't breaking news by any stretch, but as NFL fans realize, the Saints are capable of making plays, which makes this game intriguing.
The expert panels at SB Nation, FoxSports.com and Yahoo! Sports all see this game going the Steelers favor in a big way as all expert panels are unanimous in selecting the Steelers over the Saints.
However, not all expert panels were unanimous in taking the Steelers at home on Sunday. Mike Golic was the only expert on the ESPN.com panel to take the Saints to upset the Steelers on Sunday. Joining Golic were Ryan Wilson and Jason La Confora as the only experts on the CBSSports.com panel to take the Saints on the road.
The Steelers have struggled against sub par competition, but have been solid at home. The Saints have struggled the entire season, but have been extremely bad on the road. Something has to give between these two teams, but when it comes to the experts, they are leaning towards the Steelers finishing Week 13 of NFL action 8-4 while the Saints fall to 4-8.
