The Pittsburgh Steelers wrapped up their Thursday practice leading up to the game Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons and their injury report seems as unsettled as ever.
Cornerback Ike Taylor (forearm, shoulder) did not participate in practice Thursday, putting his participation and availability in jeopardy leading up to the Week 14 showdown in Georgia.
James Harrison (knee) and Maurkice Pouncey (ankle) were limited in practice. Harrison missed the Week 14 game against the Cincinnati Bengals and is trying to work his way back into the lineup, but with Jarvis Jones' return to the lineup, his return isn't as dire as once thought.
Pouncey's ankle injury is new to the injury report but, barring a setback, won't likely hinder his participation Sunday.
The Steelers also received some good news with the full participation of right tackle Marcus Gilbert (ankle, knee) who has missed the past two games, and William Gay (quad) who has been the best member of the secondary in 2014.
For the Atlanta Falcons, wide receiver Julio Jones (hip) missed practice for a second straight day, making his availability against a porous Steelers' secondary questionable at this time. Also missing practice for the Flacons were safety William Moore (foot) and cornerback Robert Alford (wrist).
