Steelers Injury Report: Ramon Foster expects to start Sunday

The Pittsburgh Steelers began their preparation for the Jacksonville Jaguars Wednesday, and the injury report from practice shows a team that is still relatively healthy.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are still a relatively healthy football team despite their three defensive starters missing significant playing time.

CB Ike Taylor (right forearm) and OLB Jarvis Jones (right wrist) are out for Sunday's game at Jacksonville, but OG Ramon Foster (ankle) practiced Wednesday and said he definitely would play this week. Foster missed the past two games after being injured at Baltimore in Week 2 and said he was close to playing against Tampa Bay last week, but Coach Mike Tomlin "didn't like the way I looked'' in warmups and deactivated him.

Other players to miss practice were rookie WR Martavis Bryant (illness), OLB James Harrison (illness) and ILB Ryan Shazier (knee).

As is customary for the first practice of the week, FS Mike Mitchell, TE Heath Miller, SS Troy Polamalu and DE Brett Keisel all received their standard maintenance day off.

OT Marcus Gilbert (ankle) and WR Markus Wheaton (groin) practiced on a limited basis.

The Jacksonville Jaguars had three starters miss practice Wednesday: WR Cecil Shorts (hamstring), WR Marqise Lee (hamstring) and CB Dwayne Gratz (concussion).
