In what's often described as a last-chance game for deep roster prospects the Steelers are in Charlotte to take on the Carolina Panthers in the final preseason game of the 2013 season.
Final roster cuts are due to the league by 6 p.m. ET Saturday. How many players on either team are legitimately battling for a spot remains to be seen, but there will be players released from both teams who get picked up by another, perhaps on the strength of their performance tonight.
The Steelers will play rookie QB Landry Jones extensively tonight, and running back Felix Jones looks to get the bulk of the carries. Defensively, the Steelers linebackers group has the most intense battle, with several players looking like they're on the fringe of this year's team.
