Pittsburgh Steelers 2012 Quarter Pole Progress Report (via SBNSteelers)
The NFL is at the quarter pole of the 2012 season, and while the Steelers are only three games in, we're going to dole out some progress reports and awards for all three phases of the game.
Offensive MVP, it's pretty obvious. Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger is playing some outstanding football, and looks to continue that against Philadelphia in Week 5. He's got some pretty outstanding numbers, and it's scary to think where this team would be without him.
Defensive MVP to this point is free safety Ryan Clark. The massive level of improvement this secondary experienced between Week 1 (without Clark) and Week 2 (with Clark) shows he's probably one of the more underrated players in the league. He's playing some of the best football of his career.
The unsung hero? The Rookie of the Year to this point? Both wide open categories, I picked mine (sort of), watch the video and weigh in on your picks for all these categories.
